CORFU - 4 Days / 3 Nights An oasis of green in the Ionian Sea! For lovers of nature and magnificent landscapes, it would be hard to beat Corfu. This island of woodlands and green valleys, magnificent beaches and peaceful bays, offers such a variety of delights that it would be impossible to choose one as being the best of the rest. As soon as you set foot on this superb island, you’ll agree with Lawrence Durrell’s opinion that Corfu is an island of “delectable landscape! 1^st Day: Arrival at Corfu airport or port. Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. Take a stroll through the "kandounia" (narrow streets) of Corfu Town, and try some of the many traditional flavors in the various restaurants and tavernas. Overnight. 2^nd Day: Day at Leisure. We suggest that you visit the Historic Town and the Old Fortresses, as well as the renovated Achilleon Palace, the retreat of the Empress Elizabeth of Austria, with its splendid gardens and statues of Achilles. Overnight. 3^rd Day: Day at leisure. We suggest a visit to the Paleokastritsa area, a small village surrounded by magnificent landscape. Above the village, you can visit the Byzantine Monastery. There are beaches nearby, plus boat trips available to explore the nearby caves, accessible only from the sea. Overnight. 4^th Day: After breakfast, meet our representative and transfer to the Corfu airport or port for your departure.
